E-platform for debt plans has opened

The electronic platform of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) opened on Friday for the new extraordinary arrangement with 36 to 72 tranches for tax debts that arose after November 1, 2021, but also for the revival of the old 36-, 72- or 120-installment arrangements.

According to the decision, those interested have until the end of July to make use of the beneficial provisions and submit the relevant application. However, as reported by the tax administration, those who do not rejoin the arrangements of 36-72 installments or 120 installments will be scrutinized in depth. According to the AADE data, about 190,000 debtors have lost the right to use the 120-installment arrangement and about 10,000 to the pandemic debt plan (36-72).

For those of the above who do not submit the application for reinstatement, taxes and fines will be assessed at the beginning of August and confiscations and checks will begin immediately. Exactly the same will happen to those who left unpaid taxes from November 2021 until today, but in a second phase.

Priority will be given to checking large debtors and those who have property assets but refuse to pay their dues.
