Central government debt creeps higher

Greece?s central government debt stood at 368 billion euros at the end of December, compared with 360.4 billion euros at the end of September, according to a statement posted on the Athens-based Finance Ministry?s website on Friday.

The country had cash deposits of 3.6 billion euros at the end of 2011, the statement showed. [Bloomberg]
