Wind beats earnings goal for 2011

Wind Hellas Telecommunications SA, a closely held Greek telecom and Internet provider, said it beat its earnings goal for 2011 after reducing costs by 100 million euros.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization rose 1 percent to 152 million euros, Greece?s third-largest telecom company said in an e-mailed statement.

Sales were 674 million euros, the company added.
