US interest in building a hotel in eastern Attica
Two US entrepreneurs visited the area of Marathonas, in northeastern Attica, last weekend, seeking a plot on which to develop a tourism investment, the general secretary of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Nikos Karahalios, told a conference on Green Tourism this week in Athens.
The US interest concerns the construction of a 500-bed hotel and the entrepreneurs have already commissioned a study on the investment.
