Greek industrial turnover index shows 17.3pct increase in October

Greece’s Turnover Index in Industry recorded an increase of 17.3 percent in October 2012 compared with October 2011, according to data published by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Thursday.

The annual rate of change of the Turnover Index in Industry was –8.2 percent, said ELSTAT.

“The average Turnover Index in Industry for the 12-month period from November 2011 to October 2012, as compared to the 12-month period from November 2010 to October 2011, increased by 3.2 percent,” added the statistics agency.

“ n October 2011, the corresponding average rate of change of the Turnover Index in Industry was 8.6 percent.”
