Greece to seek investors for 48 marinas around the country

Greece is set to privatize 48 marinas in a bid to raise revenues, according to reports.

Naftemporiki newspaper said that the current value of these marinas is almost 250 million euros.

The marinas are located throughout Attica and the rest of the country and will be split into nine groups.

The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) plans to create a “mega-marina” next to the port of Lavrio, southeast of Athens, the newspaper said.
