Greece was the biggest investor in FYROM last year

Greece is the biggest foreign investor in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), according to statistics published by authorities in Skopje.

FYROM’s statistical service said that the total of foreign direct investment in the country last year was 44.2 million euros. Of this, 12.3 million euros came from Greece.

The statistics authority also said that trade with Greece was worth 991.7 million dollars. FYROM exported 188 million dollars worth of goods to Greece and imported almost 804 dollars of products.
