Stournaras postpones meeting with troika until Tuesday

A meeting between Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras and the troika that was due to take place on Monday afternoon has been postponed for a day.

Stournaras is due to meet the visiting officials to discuss a range of issues that remain unresolved on Tuesday at 4 p.m., Finance Ministry sources said.

Stournaras is hoping to conclude the negotiations by Thursday, ahead of an informal Eurogroup meeting in Dublin on Friday.

Sackings in the civil service, the bank recapitalization program and instalments for unpaid taxes are among the main issues being discussed by the Greek side and the troika.
