Greek Producer Price Index fell 1.5% year-on-year in March

Greece’s Producer Price Index (PPI) fell 1.5 percent year-on-year in March, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Monday.

The PPI in March also recorded a decrease of 1.1 percent compared with February this year.

“The 12-month average index, from April 2012 to March 2013, compared with the same index of the period from April 2011 to March 2012, increased by 2.9 percent,” ELSTAT said.

The previous year, the 12-month average index had increased by 7.4 percent.
