Trainose ponders reward scheme for frequent train travellers

Railway services operator Trainose is preparing a rewards program for passengers who use its inter-city trains.

The company, for whom the government is currently trying to find a strategic investor, recently rewarded its most frequent users from last year.

Trainose gave two first class tickets to each of the 10 most frequent travellers from last year, based on web bookings.

The government has decided to fund Trainose with 250 million euros over the next five years to cover unprofitable routes in the hope this will help attract an investor.
