Greece’s fruit and veg exports rise 21.8 pct in Jan-May

Greek fruit and vegetable exports were up 21.8 percent to 371.19 million euros in value in the January-May 2013 period, according to Incofruit-Hellas.

Oranges took the lion’s share, with 226,845 tons of the total of fruit exports of 423,842 tons, followed by strawberries on 29,924 tons (a record, after a 35 percent increase).
