Greek unemployment rate rises to 27.6 pct in July

Greece’s jobless rate rose to 27.6 percent in July from a downwardly revised 27.5 percent in June, according to data released Thursday by the country’s statistics service (ELSTAT).

The figure was more than twice the eurozone average of 12.0 percent in August.
