Forthnet reports 74.4 pct Q1 rise in triple-play subscriptions

Listed Greek telecom service provider Forthnet on Friday announced a 74.4 percent increase in the number of its triple-play subscriptions (telephony, broadband Internet and pay television) in the first quarter of the year compared with the same period in 2013.

The provider’s lead in triple-play services has seen its Nova TV subscription base grow 29.1 percent year-on-year to reach an all-time Greek record of 482,433 subscribers at end-March.

The group has also seen its retail revenues post a rise for the first time in two years.
