Railway maintenance company tender steaming ahead
Privatization fund TAIPED has renewed the proclamation of a tender for the sale of 100 percent of railway maintenance company Rosco on Friday, after the initial effort failed earlier this year.
The invitation of interest published provides for a September 12 deadline, with the companies to be shortlisted having until October 31 for the submission of binding offers.
That means that the tender is likely to steam ahead, after the landscape in the domestic railway market was cleared to a great extent thanks to an agreement to sell service operator Trainose to Italy’s Trenitalia.
