Illegal alcohol costing 80 mln a year, EU report suggests

Alcoholic drinks firms in Greece and the Greek state are losing almost 80 million euros in total a year due to smuggling and adulteration, suggests a report produced by the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The firms are losing 46.3 million euros in sales and the state misses out on 33 million in tax.
