Athens is Europe’s third dearest for parking, survey suggests

Athens has the third-highest charges for parking among European capitals surveyed by mobility startup Ubeeqo, which is majority owned by car rental firm Europcar.

The survey, which was published in German newspaper Die Welt, found that it costs 5.70 euros per hour on average to park in Athens.

Only London, at 10.40 per hour, and Stockholm, where it costs 7.80 euros per hour, were more expensive among the cities surveyed.

Sofia and Bucharest were the two cheapest capitals for parking. The average cost in those two cities was 0.80 and 0.60 euros respectively.
