FinMin appoints new CEO and deputy managing director for HFSF

The Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) announced Wednesday that Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos has appointed Christoforos Stratos chief executive officer and Michael Haralabidis deputy managing director.

Stratos was until now a member of the Fund’s General Council and Haralabidis a senior HFSF executive. Their appointments were recommended by the General Council and are temporary.

Stratos has over 25 years of international banking and finance experience, focusing on credit, structured finance and asset management. He was appointed non-executive member of the HFSF General Council in November 2014.

Haralabidis joined the HFSF in June 2011 as chief risk officer, a position he holds to date. He focuses on risk and capital management, nonperforming exposures framework monitoring and corporate governance.
