Qatari sheikh claims denial of justice over Zakynthos plot
Pimana SA, a company belonging to Qatari Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, is accusing the Greek justice system of denial of justice for refusing to conduct a hearing on the transfer of properties on Zakynthos following repeated postponements of the case.
This concerns a 15-square kilometer area near the famed Shipwreck beach that Pimana bought in 2014 for 10 million euros.
Pimana is planning a multi-million-euro project that has run into claims for 3 sq.km. of the area by the local diocese.
The sheikh arrived on Zakynthos this week for a hearing, only to be told it had been postponed again, prompting the strong reaction.
