New labor minister to meet with creditor envoys on Tuesday

Labor Minister Efi Achtsioglou is to meet on Tuesday with representatives of Greece's international creditors for talks on labor reforms that form part of the second bailout review.
According to sources, the 31-year-old minister, who has succeeded Giorgos Katrougalos, is to focus on four main points in her negotiations with the foreign envoys.
She will seek the restoration of collective labor contracts and the extension of public sector contracts and push back against creditor demands for relaxing laws on mass dismissals and allowing employers to shut down their businesses and lockout workers in the event of industrial action.
