EFKA errors to last decades

The errors in the register of the Single Social Security Entity (EFKA) that have been troubling thousands of workers and pensioners since the start of the online system’s operations will continue to appear for the next 30 years, warned the chairman and chief executive officer of the e-Government Center for Social Security (IDIKA), Tassos Tagaris.

He said a “titanic project” had been attempted as the quality of data transferred to EFKA from its predecessors was low. All the individual problems at the old funds have combined to create a huge pile of problems at EFKA, he said.
