The blue-chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index expanded by 2.63 percent to end up at 1,185.80 points. With the exception of OPAP, which declined by 2.65 percent, all other blue chips ended the day with gains. They were led by ATEbank (up 6.67 percent), Alpha Bank (6.17 percent), Titan cement (6 percent), Marfin Investment Group (4.83 percent), Public Power Corporation (4.61 percent), Viohalco (4.34 percent) and Eurobank EFG (4.14 percent).
