Winning streak ends for stocks

Greek stocks finished a three-session winning streak, ending 0.36 percent in the red on weak banks. The Athens bourse’s benchmark general index closed the day at 2,014.55 points after dipping to an intrasession low of 1,987 points. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index shed 0.96 percent to 1,002.11 points. Banks gave up 1.50 percent. National Bank retreated 1.28 percent to 14.71 euros and peer Alpha dropped 3.66 percent to 7.10 euros. Coca-Cola Hellenic ranked among the winners, adding 3.08 percent to 19.06 euros. Mid-caps (FTSE/ATHEX 40) outperformed, adding 0.21 percent. Turnover reached 190.6 million euros versus 203.7 million euros previously.
