Linnaeus Capital Partners…

Talks about the possible merger of three major Greek fish-farming enterprises are under way. The three firms are linked by stakes that Amsterdam-based investment fund Linnaeus Capital Partners holds in each of them. The current high price for sea bream (4.20 to 4.30 euros per kilo) has paved the way for this development. Meanwhile, the Nireus group is leaving Norway after the sale of its holding in Marine Farms, for which it received 25.3 million euros that will bolster the Athens-listed company’s cash flow.
