Bank of Cyprus (BOC), the island’s largest lender, plans to open an office in India in a bid to tap business opportunities with Cypriot firms operating in the country’s fast-growing market. Cyprus ranks as the fourth-largest foreign investor in India for the last two years, according to BOC. The lender said yesterday its office in India will mostly target business clients by offering basic financial services.
