Athens fire brought under control

A helicopter drops water on a fire in a factory yard in Menidi, northwestern Athens on Thursday. The blaze was partially brought under control, authorities said. More than 20 firemen were deployed to contain the blaze, along with the water-dropping helicopter and nine fire engines. The fire released a thick cloud of smoke, visible in many parts of Athens.
