Attica’s police chief…
Attica’s police chief, Georgios Angelakos, presents a bravery award to officer Vassilis Malevitis, during a ceremony at the Athens police headquarters yesterday in which five officers were honored. Malevitis was seriously wounded during a February 2001 shootout in the Aspropyrgos area of western Attica with gangsters wanted for murders and robberies.
