Military officer handed suspended sentence for deadly traffic accident
A military court has sentenced a navy ensign to seven years in prison for the killing of a 67-year-old woman and her 8-month-old grandchild in a traffic accident near the town of Aigio in western Greece in August 2019.
The officer was jailed but will be released after appealing the sentence and posting bail.
