Four more arrest warrants issued over Kolonos sexual abuse case
The examining magistrate investigating the sexual abuse and pimping of a 12-year-old girl from the Athens district of Kolonos on Thursday ordered the arrest of another four people involved in the case.
The four are accused of paying to have sex with a minor and was based on additional testimony from the girl who recognized the men.
According to sources, three of the warrants are for men that have already voluntarily presented themselves to the police to clarify their involvement in the case. The girl’s testimony appears to contradict their claim that they never came into physical contact with the child.
The new arrest warrants bring the number of defendants to 10, including the child’s monther, of which six have been remanded in custody.
Following their arrest, the suspects will be led before the magistrate.
