Doctor arrested on suspicion of doping
Police on Wednesday said they arrested a doctor on suspicion of administering doping drugs and other unapproved treatments to athletes.
The doctor, who is based in the Attica region, was arrested on Tuesday by financial police with the assistance of inspectors from the National Medicines Organization (EOF).
According to police, since at least March 2020 the doctor offered the treatments to athletes in her surgery and in her home.
She had also created a website to advertise her products and services. [AMNA]
