Snow on its way to Athens, forecasters say
Snow and rain have been forecast for most parts of Greece for Clean Monday.
The National Meteorological Service (EMY) has issued a severe weather warning, which forecasts snow in the early part of the day in the north of the country but this is expected to spread to central Greece later in the day.
It is expected to snow in northern parts of Attica on Monday evening.
Temperatures are expected to continue dropping on Tuesday and Wednesday and snow may fall in more central parts of Athens.
