Corpse in suitcase found in garbage bin
Police were on Friday investigating the discovery of a suitcase containing a corpse that had been dumped in a garbage bin next to Larissis railway station near the city center.
The suitcase was found by a vagrant who had been rooting through the garbage at about 9 a.m., officers said. The vagrant alerted police after opening the case and discovering the human remains. No details were released about the identity of the victim.
A coroner was examining the corpse to determine the cause of death.
