Two men arrested for assault

Two Greek men, aged 19 and 22, were arrested late on Tuesday in connection with a violent attack against two Pakistani men last Thursday in the Piraeus suburb of Rendi.

Officers from the Nikaia police department said that the suspects confessed to attacking and beating the two men, who had to be hospitalized with a multitude of injuries.

They also found a set of brass knuckles on the 19-year-old Greek and were shown the spot where the 22-year-old confessed to have dumped a knife he used in the attack.

Police officers are now investigating whether two suspects have been involved in other similar assaults.
