Another stoppage on electric railway
Employees on the Kifissia-Piraeus electric railway (ISAP) are to stage their second four-hour work stoppage of the week on Thursday.
Train drivers and station staff will walk off the job at noon to protest the forced transfer of some employees to other departments as part of the government?s overhaul of public transport.
Employees are due to meet on Friday to decide whether to take any further action.
The ISAP railway is the only form of public transport where some employees will be forced to move to other departments as, unlike on other modes, there have not been enough volunteers.
