Conspiracy ‘members’ say other groups can use name
Nine suspected members of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire urban guerrilla group, which carried out a series of bloodless bombings, issued a statement on Monday in which they called for other groups to carry on their action.
In what essentially amounted to a franchising offer, the nine suspects who are in custody proposed that new ?cells? which act independently and with no knowledge of each other take on the title of ?New Conspiracy.?
The criteria for using the name, the statement said, are that members of the new groups have to be committed to using direct action, criticize society, combat the state and show solidarity with similar groups in other countries.
