Tempe highway closed part of Wednesday
Drivers traveling between Athens and Thessaloniki on Wednesday should expect delays at the Vale of Tempe in central Greece as a section of the national road will be closed, the Larissa Police Department announced.
The highway through the valley will be closed from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. as maintenance work is carried out on the road?s water drainage system.
Alternative routes will be signposted for drivers coming either from Thessaloniki or from Athens.
