Athens pharmacists to stop giving credit

Pharmacists in Athens said on Wednesday that they will stop providing customers insured with seven social security funds with medicines on credit due to the large debts the organizations have run up.

The Athens Pharmaceutical Association said its members are owed almost 90 million euros by the seven funds, which include those covering workers at OTE telecom and the Public Power Corporation as well as the Civil Servants? Fund (OPAD).
