Doctors call two-day strike
Unions representing the country?s doctors on Tuesday announced a two-day strike on Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8, in protest at planned reforms to public healthcare and changes to the rules governing private practices.
The doctors are also demanding that social security foundations pay off their debts toward individual practices and hospitals, which are 15-20 months overdue.
