Disabled man mugged in Patra
A 65-year-old disabled man from the Ovrya neighborhood of Patra was being treated for injuries, including bites, sustained during a mugging on Wednesday, according to police reports.
The wheelchair-bound man was waylaid by a 17-year-old local who tried to rob him of his money and personal belongings as his two accomplices, aged 25 and 33, looked on from a waiting car.
Neighbors who saw the incident stepped in to help the 65-year-old and also summoned the police, who tracked down the three suspects and arrested them.
