Legislation OKs longer hours for pharmacies
A ministerial decision paving the way for pharmacies to open for longer during the week and on Saturdays was signed on Tuesday.
Despite opposition from some pharmacists, the government has approved legislation that allows drugstores to open on all weekday afternoons as well on Saturday, when pharmacies are normally closed.
The new rules will apply once the ministerial decision has been published in the Government Gazette.
