Contractor detained in Volos
A 52-year-old contractor was detained in the coastal port city of Volos on Friday on charges of large-scale tax evasion. The man is alleged to owe 172,478 euros in value-added tax to the state.
The arrest brings the number of Greek businesspeople detained on tax evasion charges this year to 52.
