Tender for waste management plants in Feb.

Greece’s environment ministry will on February issue an international tender for the construction of four waste management plants, Skai reported Monday.

The investment is estimated at 360 million euros. The facilities were foreseen in the regional plan voted in the Greek Parliament nine years ago, the report said.

Experts say that the integrated waste management facility (XYTA) in the municipality of Fyli, in Attica, will be saturated in three years.
