Athens metro workers threaten strike

SELMA, one of the unions representing Athens metro employees, warned on Monday that its members would go on strike on Thursday because the firm?s management had not yet begun the process of negotiating a new collective labor contract.

The group said it would call off the action if the management begins talks before Thursday.
