Eleftherotypia newspaper employees lodge appeal
Almost 300 employees of Eleftherotypia newspaper appealed on Wednesday for the daily, which has filed for protection from its creditors under Article 99 of the Bankruptcy Code, not to be given this safeguard.
Proceedings began in an Athens court and are due to continue on Monday.
Just over 100 employees have asked for Eleftherotypia to be granted protection.
