Police’s DIAS squad to get 195 more officers

The DIAS motorcycle-riding squad that patrols the streets of Athens is going have an extra 195 officers from Monday, taking the total members of the team in Attica up to 1,533.

The move was requested by Michalis Chrysochoidis, who took over at the Citizens? Protection Ministry last week.
