No ferry services on Monday, Tuesday

There will be no ferry services on Monday or Tuesday due to a 48-hour strike called by seamen and dockworkers.

The strike called by the Panhellenic Seamen?s Federation (PNO) is in protest at the government?s austerity measures. The PNO confirmed that it would go ahead with the action following fruitless talks with government officials during the weekend.

Seamen are protesting cuts to pensions and demand the signing of collective labor contracts for 2012.
