Rightists beat leftist students

A group of suspected right-wing protesters wearing motorcycle helmets clashed with left-wing students Thursday outside the premises of the mathematics faculty of Athens University in Zografou, near central Athens, resulting in minor injuries to five of the people involved.

According to sources, the aggressors were members of the neofascist group Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn) and were taking revenge for an attack by suspected left-wingers against students affiliated with right-wing Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) on Wednesday.
