Katsimidi chosen as site for migrant detention center
The first of 30 detention centers for undocumented immigrants that the government is planning to open over the next two years is to be located at a disused airfield in Katsimidi, near Mount Parnitha, north of Athens, Skai understands.
It is unclear whether local authorities oppose the project.
