Ferries disruptions on May 1

Ferry departures are expected to be seriously disrupted on May 1 as the members of three seamen?s unions are to hold a 24-hour strike in protest at cuts to their pensions and benefits.

Their umbrella union has called a four-hour work stoppage from 8 a.m. for that day.
