Golden Dawn supporters arrested in Veria
Eight supporters of the neoNazi party Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn) were arrested in Veria, northern Greece, on Saturday afternoon after attacking people at a cafe.
According to the police the Golden Dawn supporters had scuffled with people handing out election leaflets before descending on a cafe that is a regular haunt for extreme leftists.
One person was injured during the attack and the cafe suffered considerable damage.
