Hand grenade thrown at police in Neos Kosmos
Unidentified assailants fired a gun and threw a hand grenade at police officers in the neighborhood of Neos Kosmos early on Friday morning.
Spotting the police officers patroling the neighborhood, one of the three men fired a weapon at them while another lobbed the hand grenade.
The officers emerged unscathed though there was damage to parked cars.
Additional police were dispatched to the area to seek the perpetrators.
